Recently refurbished to a good standard. But that's about where the positives end. Unless you're known to the bar staff, you can expect a long wait at the bar to be served. Regular customers will be served shortly after walking through the door. 'Visitors' must wait 5-10 minutes. Most Yiewsley/West Drayton pubs are similar. Unless you live locally, give this and the others along the High Street & Station Road a wide berth.

Wow. Where do I even begin? We ended up here by accident last night! The pub is quite rough and the clientele looked menacing. If I didn't have my husband with me I would have felt VERY uncomfortable!
However, that being said it was the only pub in the area that we dated enter. All the other establishments appeared to have a higher likelihood of getting stabbed. It's quite unfortunate that this area lacks in any decent pub as West Drayton people must not have anywhere to go for a drink.
Anyways, the George and Dragon interior was old and crummy and probably hadn't been refurbished for decades. The bathroom was disgusting like so gross that I didn't use it.
I would never try the food here as your probably likely to get sick! The beer selection was minimal with only the VERY generic labels like Fosters available.
If you ever find yourself in this area looking for a drink, just turn around and go home! Maybe, there's a secret spot that I didn't find and I apologise if there is, but based on my brief experience this is a dodgy neighbourhood to try to find a pint in!
